tasty toes!

A sweet baby girl found her feet the other day! She has been studying them for a a week or so and the other night in the bath she grabbed on!

How can I get this into my mouth?

oooo I have 2 of these yummy looking things!

what is out of place?

If you guessed the duck, you are right! That darn duck is always climbing on the monkey's branch.

Sophia decided to hang out in front of the tv instead of on her playmatt. Something over there must have caught her eye ;)

who knew laundry could be fun?!

This little lady makes everything fun! Sophia loves folding laundry. She especially loves the part when mom swooshes the clothes by her face and says "wheeee." Such a cutie :)

a visit to Nana's office

Last week we had to take a few Reading Camp things up to my mom's school so Sophia and I got to visit her in her clinic! My mom is retiring this year from her career as a school nurse to help take care of Sophia on the days I have to work.

Nana was very excited to introduce her beautiful granddaughter to her colleauges.

Nana and Sophia in Nana's clnic.

And a close up! Look at those beautiful smiles

Congratulations Nana on your retirement! We're excited to have you come play with us during the week!

scooting

Sophia is "on the move" these days! She no longer stays in one spot where mommy lays her. She has started to notice all the other toys on her playmat, not just the ones right above her, and she's figured out a way to get them. She scoots around her playmat using her feet.

One minute she's on this side of the mat...

and the next she is over here!

You may remember she was rolling over a few weeks ago....well we seem to have given up on that and gone the scooting route.

On another note, I think she must have gone through a growth spurt recently because she looks huge to me in these pictures! She's growing so fast!

grass

Sophia was introduced to grass for the first time last weekend by her Pappy Clark.

She didn't pay much attention to it but she was pretty amazed by the intelligent scientist holding her.

staying cool

It has been hot around here the last few days! Like 90 degrees hot! Our little lady knows how to stay cool though.

Water glass and no clothes are the way to go. She loved rubbing her face and mouth on the cool glass. So much so that she smacked Caitlin in her excitement (good job baby girl).

She was the only one at the Memorial day picnic in just a diaper. Thank goodness....
